The honeycomb core carries the load between two aluminium faces, so a thin composite panel behaves like a much thicker solid sheet.
Ruiheng builds honeycomb panels with AA3003 aluminium faces, a high-density aluminium hexagonal core and a two-component polyurethane adhesive, cured under pressure. The result is a panel with high flatness, low weight and good resistance to wind load — suitable for curtain walls, interior linings, ceilings and transport applications.
